We just came back from Helsinki (FI) where we performed in the beautiful Lauttasaari kirkko with the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Philomela choir. We also have very exciting news, as we signed a contract with the Saura Booking Agency. We are looking forward to working with them - Fun times ahead!

Concert of the European Day of Languages

Umbra meets Philomela choir from Finland.
In this unique concert, we dive deep into the nordic traditions of nations.

FREE ENTRY. Program €15.
We will do a special show in Reykjavík on September 21st where we will performs Icelandic folk songs in our own arrangements and original material with texts from medieval literature. The focus will be material from our latest album Bjargrúnir as well as new material.
At the concert, guests can expect an intimate moment where we will delve into the heritage of stories and Icelandic poetry in words and melodies.

We had a beautiful time with our friends Vévaki last Sunday at Gaukurinn, wonderful turnout and we got to try out some new original tunes that we are very excited about, using old norse texts and using our tool box of synths, pedals and effects . Can’t wait to share this music with more of you.
